All the Memes
Focus on Force
Focus on Force is an educational platform that helps Salesforce professional learn more Salesforce, develop their career and prepare for certification exams. If you've spent any time preparing for a Salesforce cert, chances are you've come across FoF and wondered if it's worth it. I'm here to tell you ... YES!
If you're preparing for any of the certifications in their list, I would recommend spinning up an account and dive right in! π€Ώπ€Ώ The investment is minimal and worth every penny (as of this writing it's a measly $19 to get practice exam or study guide). Considering most certification exams are $200 sit for - double for the Architect exams - this is a steal considering both the quantity & quality of resource you get in return.
Dev/Architect Perspective
This resource has been an important part of my certification journey. Having obtained more than 15 Salesforce certifications, Focus On Force was an important piece of my own preparation. If you're just starting your journey and you're curious what a certified developer & architect would recommend for technical certifications ... Focus on Force β Trailhead βReal world experience proved to be a winning combination for me.
We all know the CTA is widely recognized as the pinnacle of Salesforce certs. If you check out the CTA pyramid and compare that against the cert prep resources from Focus on Force you'll notice they align quite nicely. At the time of this writing the only exams you can't find practice resources for on FoF is Development Lifecycle and Deployment along with IAM. No doubt they're working hard on closing this gap. Basically, you can study to obtain nearly both domain architect certifications.
My recommended FoF path:
Admin
Platform App Builder
Dev I
Data
Sharing/Visibility
Integration
These will set you squarely on the path toward eligibility for the CTA credential. As a bonus - you'll have earned your App Architect cert!
Once you're wrapped there, hit these up:
Dev II
Javascript Dev I
Experience Cloud
Good luck and go for it! Oh, and stay away from anyone promising cert exam dumps. Don't devalue the work others have put in and put it in yourself. You'll be much better for it.
Daily Principle
"The impediment to action advances action. What stands in the way becomes the way." - Marcus Aurelius
Marcus Aurelius was a Roman Emperor and Stoic philosopher. The last of the rulers known as the Five Good Emperors, he reigned over an age of relative peace, calmness and stability.
Although, it wasn't always calm and stable for him. Marcus had more than his fair share of the obstacles to overcome. In Meditations he speaks of finding one's place in the universe and the importance of analyzing one's judgment of themselves and others.
