What is it?

One-click rollback is…you guessed it…one-click to rollback the most recent deployment!

Why?!

We all make mistakes…Salesforce professionals make less of them 😉 but even you have your off days 🥺.

And in its current state, a Salesforce rollback takes a town to make it happen - Git repos, devops tools, or a “reverse” change set.

With all the cunning and power that is the Salesforce platform, can we get a one-click button for admins to be able to rollback a deployment? Why do you need a full off-platform tech stack and technical resources to revert to a previous state 😵‍💫?

SIMPLE VISIBILITY

Hover-over “Where Is This Field Being Used”

What is it?

You simply need to hover over the field in question, and a pop-up provides a list and direct links to where the field is being used - reports, automations, validation rules, apex jobs…ALL THE THINGS!

Your tolerance must’ve gone up 💪, because this is more common-sense idea than drunk idea 💡.

Why?!

I recently experienced this functionality in an off-brand, KMart-y, prickly CRM that overall sucked.

BUT…

It had this hover-over-the-field feature and provided access to everywhere the field is referenced. It was magical 🪄! Glorious 🤲! Lovely 🥰!

And if this podunk CRM ,that no one has ever heard of, can flawlessly execute a function that Salesforce professionals spend days of your lives trying to find the end of the tail for, ie where the hell else is this field referenced, then maybe Salesforce and their $250 billion market cap can 😤.

Opportunity Tamagotchi

What is it?

Pour yourself another before you even finish the drink in front of you. It’s time to get funky 💃🕺.

Take advantage of human nature and instill a too-cute-to-handle vibe to Opportunities. Like a Tamagotchi! Tug on the heart-strings ❤️ and compel soft emotions 🥹 to make moves on stale deals!

Why?!

Tamagotchis are these cute lil digital things that live on a keychain 🤷🏻. They need nurturing, food, and to be played with and entertained.…OR THEY DIE ☠️.

An auto-response, ironically generated by AI, explaining to a ticket-submitter why the AI solution they’re requesting is not possible with AI.

Why?!

Everyone wants AI solutions 🤖.

“Can’t you just use AI to do that?”

“I could do your job using ChatGPT and Claude!”

“Adminforce is going to be great, obviously better then Agentforce!”

But guess what, AI ain’t ready for world domination yet 🙅. And in the meantime, users get to deal with a fleshbag supporting, maintaining, and enhancing the Salesforce org 😎.

So in the meantime, some auto-messaging to users to help them understand you are their best option right now and AI is not able to gather their ambiguous requirements, integrate a database from a server sitting in a closet, or pushback on their strong desire to change Opportunity stages again 😩.
