Why Should I Care?

Meetings, and their associated notes, nurture 3 important components of a project-

  1. Alignment

  2. Communication

  3. Visibility

And what are we aligning on? What are we communicating? What needs to be visible?

These 3 things-

  1. Objectives - what is the purpose of X?

  2. Status - are we on time, on budget? Is it Not Started, WIP, Completed, or Blocked?

  3. Stakeholder Decisions and Validations - Who approved what? When? If we input Y, then what should be the output?

2) How Do I Do It?

You already have your high-effort agenda. Now you’ll clarify objectives, update statuses, and acquire stakeholder’s decisions and validations.
